"Food for Today and Tomorrow: connecting food, climate change, and sustainability"

The Earth Forum of Howard County 
at First Presbyterian Church, 9325 Presbyterian Circle
introduces its 5th season. 
“Food for Today and Tomorrow: connecting food, climate change, and sustainability” by presenting Dr. Charles Walthall, National Program Leader for Climate Change for the Agricultural Research Service, USDA. Dr. Walthall will present insights into the intriguing and sometimes hidden relationships among food production, water, air, and climate. Refreshments will be served. Break-out groups, at 3:45, will include a viewing and discussion of the film “Nourish: What’s the story of your food?” narrated by Cameron Diaz, and a workshop on  “Native Plants, from our Garden to Yours”.  Free and open to all.
