Health care in Howard County

Health care in Howard County is a joke!!! I spent 13 hours in the waiting room at HCGH waiting to be seen, even though my doctor called in before I got there. This is a political football where no one seems to care. As it turns out this is almost normal as the hospital is over run with patients. Our county allows houses on every square inch of land but will not allow new hospitals. Everyone I talk to can see the problem but no one wants to fix this broken system. We are one of the richest counties in the country but our health care is closer to a third world country.
