Same-Sex Marriage: 'Civil Right' or 'Gateway...to Bestiality'?

This week, and  sparked conversations on Elkridge Patch. But by far, the most-commented-on article was regarding the  bill.

The Senate may vote on the legislation later this week, according to The Washington Post.

This bill needs to be stopped…vulnerable children could be adopted by "married" homosexual pedophiles and molested. —

Are you suggesting that children aren't adopted by STRAIGHT pedophiles and molested? —

I'm against same sex marriage….It’s like a gateway drug—it opens the door to who knows what. Some folks like animal sex; I guess they will be next...or perverts that like children. Where do we as a society draw the line?? —

Gays and lesbians also have every right to be married and become parents! This issue is about civil rights for this group. These rights have been squelched for these people for too long. I for one cannot wait 'til I can vote yes in a booth at this November! —
