7-Eleven Robbed Early Thursday

Police say the suspect implied a gun after shopping for several minutes.

Howard County Police released the description of a suspect involved in an armed robbery of the  Washington Boulevard.

According to police, shortly after 1 a.m. on Thursday, a suspect entered the 7-Eleven, on the 6500 block of Washington Blvd., shopped in the store for several minutes and then implied to a clerk that he had a handgun. The suspect demanded money, police said, and the clerk complied, after which the suspect fled.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 5 foot 8 inches tall, with short hair and a receding hairline. The suspect was wearing cargo shirts, white shoes and a black jacket with thin yellow stripes on the sleeves, one stripe across the back and a yellow collar.
