AC Units, Freezer Stolen From Elkridge Business: Howard County Crime Reports

Elkridge

Residential burglary

Someone forced open the rear door of a residence in the 6000 block of Hunt Club Road and stole an Xbox, iPad and jewelry from the home on the morning of Aug. 27

Residential burglary

Someone who climbed through a window between 9 a.m. and noon on Aug. 28 stole cash from a wallet and extensively ransacked a residence in the 5700 block of Green Valley Place.

Commercial burglary

A refrigerator, air conditioning units, a commercial freezer and copper cables were stolen from Southwest Land Company in the 8500 block of Old Dorsey Run Road sometime between Aug. 19 and Aug. 28. Police found windows broken at the business.

Multiple construction site burglaries

Someone broke into a construction site near the 7500 block of Hearthside Way first overnight on Aug. 25 – 26 and stole copper for a commercial refrigerator. Then, a second break-in occurred sometime overnight on Aug. 27 – 28, this time commercial aluminum wire was stolen. In the second incident, police report bolt cutters were used to cut along the fence line.

Residential burglary – arrest

Brian Bell, 30, of Patapsco, MD was arrested after police observed him enter a residence in the 5400 block of Luckpenny Place around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 29. Police responded to the residence earlier after receiving a report around 2 p.m. of someone smashing the rear sliding glass door with a brick.

Indecent exposure

Someone walking on a trail near the 9000 block of Moving Water Lane around 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 29 spotted a white or Asian male in his 20s exposing himself. Police said the man was wearing a gray t-shirt, black basketball shorts, a white baseball cap and white shoes at the time of the incident.
