Baltimore Ravens' Sergio Kindle Arrested on Route 1, Charged with DUI

Kindle, a rookie linebacker who has yet to play this season due to injury, was arrested early Sunday morning.

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Sergio Kindle was arrested early Sunday morning in Savage and charged with drunken driving, according to court records.

Kindle's arrest was first reported by the Baltimore Sun.

The 23-year-old rookie, who lives in Owings Mills, has yet to play for the team this season due to injury. He was driving northbound on Route 1 at 4:09 a.m. when he was pulled over at the MD-32 intersection, according to court records.

A Howard County police spokeswoman told the Baltimore Sun that Kindle's vehicle–a 2004 Cadillac with Texas license plates–was seen weaving on the road.

Kindle was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, failing to obey a traffic control device (e.g., speed-limit sign) and speeding; Kindle is accused of driving 70 mph where the speed limit was 55 mph.

He's since been freed on a $10,000 bond, according to the Baltimore Sun.
