Levering Break-In Attempt, Rockburn Hill Theft

Police said two break-ins were reported Monday and Tuesday in Elkridge.

Police responded to an attempted break-in on Levering Avenue around midnight on Feb. 28.

Between 12 and 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, someone tried to enter a residence on the 5500 block of Levering Avenue through a bedroom window.

Police said that the person did not get into the house but the bottom part of the window frame was removed.

Less than a mile away, police responded to thefts from a shed and vehicles; all were unlocked.

A gas can was reported stolen from a detached shed on the 6200 block of Rockburn Hill Road. Police said cash may also have been stolen from two unlocked vehicles on the same block between 5 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday.
