Break-Ins at Elkridge Auto Exchange, Paint Store

The following information was provided by the Howard County Police Department.

A woman's closet was disheveled and two outfits reportedly put on the bed in a residence on the 6600 block of Aspern Dr., said police. The woman was in the bathroom when she said she heard the front door open and close. The invasion occurred sometime between 6 p.m. when the woman left her home and 10:30 p.m. when she returned on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Break-In on Montgomery Road

A refrigerator, stove and sink were stolen from an abandoned home on the 7100 block of Montgomery Road, said police. A padlock had been cut off a side door, according to the report, which came in at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Break-In on Santa Barbara Road

A safe containing cash, gas cards and checks was stolen from Sherwin Williams over the weekend, according to Howard County police. The front window was broken at the business on the 6600 block of Santa Barbara Rd. between 12 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1, and 7 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 3.

Vehicles Reported Stolen, Recovered in Other Counties

A Dodge Ram, Lincoln Navigator and Cadillac Seville were stolen from the on Dorsey Run Road, according to police. They were reported stolen at 11 p.m. on Aug. 31. The Navigator was recovered in Prince George's County. There was an unsuccessful attempt to steal a Jeep Cherokee from the same location, said police.

Police recovered a Ford F-350 that had been stolen from the 6200 block of Washington Blvd. on Saturday, Sept. 1. Officials found the vehicle in Lansdowne.
