Police: Investigation into Elkridge Man's Death is 'Progressing'

The body of Justin Ogle was found on the side of the road in Finksburg in late July.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of an Elkridge man who was found on the side of the road in Finksburg on July 31.

Just after 7 a.m. July 31, a jogger discovered the body of a man on the side of Patapsco Road in Finksburg. Police later identified the man as 20-year-old Justin Ogle of Elkridge.

"I have been advised by our Homicide Unit investigators that this investigation is active and ongoing," said State Police Media Director Greg Shipley. "Investigators are working with the Carroll County State's Attorney's Office and the case is progressing."

As reported in a previous Patch article, Shipley said Ogle was hanging out with friends in the Westminster area the night before his death. Shipley said police homicide investigators interviewed the friends, who they believe to be the last people who saw Ogle alive.

Shipley said because of the continuing investigation, further details are not being released at this time.

Welcome to the club....love the free speech of the press....I copy and paste all my posts and sendRead More them to myself in an email....If Patch refuses to publish them, I email the editor a copy and ask them to critique where I violated their rules....I also cc a copy to my commissioner when they are not published so he can see what's going on...I don't hear many liberals complaining about this,, only those who advocate smaller government and liberty.
