Fiery Crash in Hanover Kills One

Anne Arundel County Police are still investigating the cause.

A guardrail impaled a vehicle in a fiery crash early Monday morning in Hanover, resulting in the death of the driver, according to Anne Arundel Police

Officers responded to the crash on Corporate Center Drive near Old Stoney Run Way in Hanover at 1:07 a.m. and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames, officials said.

After putting out the fire, police found the driver, Vernon Bryant Jr., 41, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WBAL.

Police said they are still investigating the cause of the crash, which happened after the car failed to negotiate a curve while travelling northwest on Corporate Center Drive.
