Commercial burglary

Someone stole gasoline from multiple tanks at Alban in the 6300 block of Old Washington Road sometime between April 25 and May 1.

Residential burglary

Cash, a laptop, silver cutlery and jewelry were taken from a bedroom, which was ransacked, at a residence in the 4200 block of Bright Bay Way sometime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 30. Someone gained entry by breaking a first floor rear glass door.

Commercial break-in

Someone broke into Mr. Electron in the 9100 block of Annapolis Road by removing the hinges from the door overnight on May 1. A computer appeared to be tampered with, but nothing was missing.

A door was forced open at Atlantic Masonry in the 9100 block of Annapolis Road, but nothing was reported missing on May 1.

North Laurel

Armed robbery

Two men walking to their car in the 9200 block of Canterbury Riding were confronted by a man displaying a handgun who demanded money around 2 a.m. on April 28. The men gave the armed man money and then fled the scene. Police described the suspect as a black male, late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-8, 200 pounds, heavy set with a dark complexion who was wearing a large coat.

Commercial burglary

Someone broke into a BGE substation in the 7900 block of Waterloo Road between April 10 and May 1 by cutting a chain link fence. Police reported copper wire was stolen.

Commercial burglary

An attempt was made to force open a rear door at Staples Delivery Operations in the 9300 block of Washington Blvd., but no entry was made on April 30.
