Elkridge 

Commercial burglary

Someone stole copper piping from a Ryan Homes construction site on the 6100 block of South Meyer Drive sometime between April 26 and April 3, according to police. There were no signs of forced entry.

Police say someone threw a rock through a window at Crazy Ray’s, on the 8100 block of Washington Boulevard on May 3 at about 11:30 p.m. Someone entered the business, according to police, but nothing was reported stolen.

A handgun and several electronic items were stolen from a home on the 7000 block of Ducketts Lane on May 5, according to police. Police say that sometime between 6 and 10 p.m., someone entered the home through an unlocked door.

Ellicott City

Residential burglary

Someone entered a home on the 3500 block of Angus Valley Trail on May 5 and stole a pet squirrel, according to police.

Commercial burglary 

Sometime between 6 p.m. April 3 and 7 a.m. the next day, someone broke into Design Group, on the 7500 block of Richard Valley Road, according to police. Tools were reported stolen.

Laurel

Commercial robbery 

On May 4, just after 11 p.m., two masked men entered All Saints Liquors, on the 9100 block of All Saints Road, showed a gun and pushed an employee to the floor, according to police. One of the masked men hit an employee with the gun. Another employee was in the bathroom. The burglars took all of the money from the registers and stole a lock box.  

Non-commercial robbery

Police say three men approached the victim at the intersection of Harvest Way and Redbridge Court on May 4 at about 5:45 p.m. One of the men grabbed the victim’s phone, showed a knife and threatened the victim, telling him not to follow them.

Columbia

Non-commercial burglary 

According to police, someone entered a home on the 8500 block of Greystone Lane between 6 a.m. May 4 and 1:30 the next morning. The burglar entered through an unlocked door, according to police. Nothing was reported stolen.

County-wide vehicle thefts/attempted thefts

On May 2 at about 6:45 a.m., someone tried to steal a 2000 Dodge van from the 8500 block of Washington Boulevard. 

On May 2, at about 9:15 at about 9 p.m., someone stole a gray Toyota 4Runner with the license plate: MD 01591BY from the 12100 block of Red Stream Way.

On May 2 at about 7:45 p.m., someone stole a black Toyota Camry with the license plate: MD 1AB1994 from the 6500 block of Freetown Road.
