Weekend Break-Ins on Hanover Road

The Howard County Police Department apprehended suspects in one incident.

 

Police said there were two break-ins over the weekend in Hanover, less than a mile apart.

At 5:38 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, five juveniles were arrested for breaking into a vacant home in Hanover. Three males and two females were arrested for breaking and entering. Police found the group fleeing from the abandoned house on the 6100 block of Adcock Lane.

At 8:30 a.m. on June 3, copper wire and piping were reported stolen from a home under construction on the 6100 block of Hanover Road. The theft occurred between 2 p.m. on Friday and 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

Police did not respond as to whether the two incidents were related.
