Havre de Grace Crime: Argument at Ambulance Corps, Trespassing at Elementary School

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information.

Revolution Street, 1200 block. 11:13 p.m. on Jan. 9. A 20-year-old Edgewood man was charged with possession of marijuana after police found the substance inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.

South Juniata Street, 600 block. 9:53 p.m. on Jan. 9. Charges are pending against two juveniles after they were found trespassing at Havre de Grace Elementary School. Police responded to a report of youths on the roof and found two boys, one 15 and the other 16, atop the elementary school building. Police brought them down and turned them over to their guardians.

Level Road, 1600 block. 5:54 p.m. on Jan. 7. A 35-year-old Perryville woman was charged with second-degree assault and resisting/interfering with an arrest after a fight broke out in the parking lot of the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps. A Havre de Grace police officer and an off-duty officer from another agency were inside the building volunteering when they heard two women arguing in the parking lot. The officers stepped outside and while they were attempting to intervene, the Perryville woman pushed an officer and grabbed the woman she had been arguing with, leading to the charges.

Pulaski Highway, 900 block. 7:51 p.m. on Jan. 6. An odor of marijuana was reportedly coming from a room at the Super 8 Motel. Officers noticed the smell upon arrival and found marijuana inside the room. A 40-year-old Havre de Grace woman of the 100 block of Bloomsbury Avenue was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

Lori Lane, 2000 block. 3:32 p.m. on Jan. 6. Two vehicles including a van were egged overnight.

North Union Avenue, 500 block. 2:40 a.m. on Jan. 6. A woman had reportedly stolen a pack of cigarettes from 7-Eleven. While officers were taking the report, the woman called to ask if she could make a payment for the stolen merchandise, which was a pack of Newports valued at $7. When she returned to the convenience store, officers arrested the suspect, a 33-year-old from Deaver Street, who was charged with newspaper theft.

Pulaski Highway, 1000 block. 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 5. Razorblades, Crest white strips and Olay products were stolen from Rite Aid. The estimated value was $970.

North Juniata Street, 500 block. 4:31 p.m. on Jan. 5. Prescription medicine was stolen.

Tidewater Drive, 200 block. 3:05 p.m. on Jan. 5. Two GPSes were stolen from a vehicle. Estimated value was $330.

Counterpoint Circle, 500 block. 2:17 p.m. on Jan. 4. A real estate agent reported a lockbox that was stolen on Dec. 26, 2012. The value was $100.

Pulaski Highway, 1000 block. 12:07 p.m. on Jan. 4. A man was detained for attempting to shoplift a pork roast from Save-a-Lot. The estimated value of the pork roast was $8. The case was referred to the commissioner.

Lori Lane, 2000 block. 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 3. A mailbox was spraypainted.

Lori Lane, 2000 block. 2:09 p.m. on Jan. 3. A van was vandalized. It was tagged with spraypaint. Estimated damage was $100. The crime is being investigated as related to the mailbox spraypainted on the same block.

South Washington Street, 100 block. 10:44 a.m. on Jan. 3. A business sign was found broken in half. Estimated value was $500.
