Man Charged in Two Elkridge Burglaries
The suspect, also charged in nine Columbia burglaries, was apprehended after a vehicle pursuit.
Police charged a Prince George's County resident for 11 burglaries throughout Howard County, .
Lamar Ali Carroll, 37, of 28th Avenue in Temple Hills, was charged with first, third and fourth-degree burglary and theft charges, according to the Howard County Police Department.
Carroll was arrested on Feb. 28 after he was observed committing a possible burglary in Montgomery County, according to police. Officials were monitoring Caroll after identifying him as a suspect in multiple burglaries in Howard County.

After a brief vehicle pursuit involving Montgomery County, Howard County and Maryland State Police, officials arrested the suspect.
Currently, he is being held in the Montgomery Detention Center on $75,000 bond, reported police. On Friday, he was charged with the following crimes by Howard County police:

- Nine burglaries in Columbia from Jan. 4, 5 and 17
Police estimated the total value of property stolen in these cases is estimated to be approximately $40,000.
Carroll is still being investigated as a possible suspect in other burglaries.
