Man Struck After Walking out Into the Street

Police say they don't plan to charge anyone.

A 22-year-old was taken to the hospital earlier this week after walking out into traffic on Waterloo Road, according to police. 

Witnesses told police that on May 27, the man walked out into the street on the 6400 block of Waterloo Road, near Mayfield Avenue.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries. According to police spokeswoman Mary Phelan, his injuries were not life threatening.

Police do not plan to file any charges, Phelan said.
