New Year's Robbery Reported from Elkridge
Street robbery, commercial break-in reported.
A group assaulted and robbed a man at 3 a.m. on Jan. 1, according to police.
"The incident occurred after a party in the area of 108 and 32," said Elizabeth Schroen, spokeswoman for Howard County Police Department.
Police said a group of people the victim didn't know came up behind him and stole his wallet.

At 8:48 p.m. on New Year's Day, the man reported the incident from the 7400 block of Washington Boulevard.
The man did not need medical attention, according to police.

Commercial Break-In
A copper pipe was stolen from a vacant building on the 6900 block of San Thomas Road at 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28.
