One Robbery in Elkridge, Three Break-Ins on Hurricane Weekend

Just before 4 p.m. on Aug. 28, an unknown suspect approached an employee at , displayed a gun and demanded cash. The employee gave cash to the suspect, who fled on a bicycle.

Between Aug. 27 and Aug. 28, the front door of Mayer Brothers, on the 6200 block of Race Road, was forced open. Police said nothing was reported stolen.

Soon after 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, someone observed a man on the roof of a vacant building on the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard. The man jumped from the roof, and officers arrested him and a woman. Police said the man was stealing copper wiring from an air conditioning unit; he was charged with fourth-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property and theft. Police charged the woman with conspiracy to commit theft.

Elkridge: Residential Break-In

Between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, a laptop, prescription medication and cash were stolen from a residence on the 5900 block of Setter Drive. Police said the basement door had been kicked in.
