Pedestrian Killed in Jessup Early Wednesday
Police have charged a driver who they believe struck and killed the man walking on Montevideo Road.
Anne Arundel County Police said speed and alcohol might have played a role in a hit-and-run that killed a Jessup man early Wednesday morning.
Police said Robert Ashworth Brown, 50, of 2026 Citrus Ave., was struck by a truck while walking in the area of Montevideo Drive and Montevideo Court.
An early investigation indicates that another Jessup man, Keith Edward Harrell, was driving his burgundy 2005 Ford F-150 southbound at the 2000 block of Montevideo Road when he struck Brown, police said.
