Police Find Burglary Suspects at Elkridge Business

Elkridge woman and Ellicott City man were caught at recycling center, according to officials.

Two Howard County residents were charged with burglary after Baltimore County police tracked them from a Halethorpe home to an Elkridge business.

The man and woman took metal items from a residence in Halethorpe last week, according to Baltimore County police.

At around 3 p.m. on Aug. 6, a Halethorpe homeowner witnessed two people removing two folding beds, four aluminum lawn chairs, a weed trimmer and a tire with an aluminum rim from her yard on the 1800 block of Arbutus Ave., police said.

The resident saw the suspects load the material into a pickup truck, and she called police, according to officials.

Police located the suspects and their truck near  on Furnace Avenue in Elkridge.

The 23-year-old Ellicott City man and a 52-year-old Elkridge woman were each charged with burglary and theft under $1,000.
