Vehicle theft

Sometime late the night of Nov. 4 or the morning of Nov. 5 suspects cut a lock on a shed on the 6800 block of Dorsey Road, reported police. The suspects removed a motorcycle and a four-wheeler to get to a 2010 customized Yamaha Raptor 700 4-wheeler. The suspects replaced the Raptor's sand tires with dirt tires, then stole it. The Raptor is worth about $20,000.

A gold Nissan Altima was reported stolen near the 7100 block of Beverly Drive on Nov. 1.

Commercial burglary

One hundred and twenty car batteries were reportedly stolen from Crazy Ray's near the 8100 block of Washington Blvd. overnight from Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. to Nov. 6 at 4:30 a.m. Police believe the unknown suspect or suspects gained entry to the junkyard by cutting a hole in the fence.

Police arrest suspected catburglar

Police responded to a residence near the 9400 block of Clocktower Lane after a resident reported a breaking and entering in progress. The resident reported that she could hear her dog growling and noise coming from downstairs around 3 a.m. on Nov. 7. Police found that the suspect entered through an unlocked front door and later exited through a side sliding door.

As police patrolled the area, one officer spotted a man running and ordered the man to stop, but he ran into the woods. Nearby where the man was spotted, officers found several items stolen from the residence underneath a parked car and in a bush. Soon after, a man matching the officer's description was found walking down an adjacent street.

Police arrested the man, Jeisson Uribe, 23, of Jessup, and charged him with first-, third- and fourth-degree burglary, as well as theft over $1,000.

Breaking and entering

A crowbar was found outside a sliding glass door with a broken screen after an unknown suspect or suspects attempted to gain entry to a residence on the 6000 block of Majors Lane on Nov. 5 around 5:30 p.m.

A video camera and an iPod was stolen from Das Auto Service near the 6400 block of Dobbin Center Way after an unknown suspect or suspects reportedly pried the rear door open and smashed a window to gain entry to the business on Nov. 6 at about 2:15 a.m.

Next door to Das Auto, at Dobbin Auto Body, an exterior video camera was destroyed, but unknown suspects were unable to gain entry to the business, despite reportedly trying to pry the door open on Nov. 6 at 2:15 a.m.

A laptop, portable GPS and jewelry were reported stolen from a residence near the 6600 block of Farbell Row after an unknown suspect or suspects gained entry by forcing a kitchen window open on Nov. 7 between 7:15 a.m. and 6:11 p.m.

Attempted breaking and entering

An unknown suspect or suspects reportedly attempted to gain entry to a residence near the 4900 block of Alice Avenue on Nov. 6 at 7:26 p.m., but was not unsuccessful.
