Police: Newspaper Delivery Driver Robbed in Elkridge

Police say one robber showed a gun.

Howard County Police say a newspaper delivery person was robbed at gunpoint in Elkridge on Sunday.

According to police, the delivery person was parked on the 6800 block of Old Waterloo Road at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday when two men approached his vehicle.

Police say one of the men showed a handgun and demanded the delivery person give up his wallet, cash and watch; the other man stood by silently.

Police say the robbers took off behind Deep Run Elementary School. 

The robber with the gun was described as a black man, six-foot-one-inch tall and about 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.

The second robber is described as a white man, about five-foot-five-inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a jean jacket with a hooded sweatshirt and black jeans
