Police Seek Two Men in Jessup Shooting

Two men allegedly shot Jessup man in the leg before running away.

Anne Arundel County Police have obtained arrest warrants for two men in connection with a shooting in Jessup last month.

Police said they are looking for Brandon Durell Johnson, 23, of Severn, and Kaliq Uqdah, 20, of Baltimore.

The two men are accused of breaking into another man’s apartment on March 20, according to a press release. Police said the pair used force to enter the residence on the 7800 block of Sellner Road before one of the suspects displayed a handgun and shot the 45-year-old victim in the leg before fleeing.

The victim’s injuries were reportedly not life-threatening.

Police said an investigation revealed that Johnson and Uqdah targeted the victim, and that the incident stemmed from a dispute. Police said there is no immediate threat to public safety.

Johnson and Uqdah are still at large, but police have warrants for their arrest.
