Purse Snatched, Business Robbed on Route 1

Over the weekend, a woman was robbed and a business was broken into on Route 1 in Elkridge.

On Monday, Jan. 30, a woman was assaulted and her purse was stolen on the 6200 block of Washington Blvd. According to police, the victim knew the assailant. The incident was reported at 2:25 a.m.

On Sunday, Jan. 29, cash was stolen after a break-in at . Police said that the suspect threw a brick through the glass door of the business to get inside. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue, white and gray Columbia jacket and blue jeans, with his hair longer on top than on the sides and back. The robbery was reported at 6:33 a.m.

Electrical wires were reported stolen from a construction site on the 7600 block of Washington Blvd., reported at 7:20 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16. Police said that a gate was damaged.

Vehicles Stolen 

A tow truck and another vehicle were reported stolen from the 7200 block of Washington Blvd. on Monday, Jan. 23, reported at 4:17 p.m.

A silver 2005 Nissan Altima was reported stolen from the 7300 block of Washington Blvd. on Thursday, Jan. 19, reported at 2:07 a.m.

Two white trailers were reported stolen from the 7400 block of Coca Cola Drive on Wednesday, Jan. 18, reported at 10:44 a.m.

A Chevrolet Uplander was reported stolen from the 7900 block of Washington Blvd. at 4:07 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
