The crash involved a Giant Food tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle.

One person was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center after a two-vehicle crash on Route 1 in Elkridge Thursday afternoon.

Police received a call at 3:08 p.m. that there was a collision on Washington Boulevard at Port Capital Drive, said police spokeswoman Elizabeth Schroen.
