Street Robbery on Route 1: Elkridge Crime Roundup

Howard County Police Department provided the following information.


Street Robbery on Route 1
At 8:34 p.m. on Sunday, a man stole cash from a woman on the 6300 block of Washington Blvd. According to the report, the man pushed the woman against a wall and held her with one hand while reaching into her purse with the other hand. He stole cash from her wallet and fled, according to police, who said the man and woman knew one another.

Break-In on Lawyers Hill
On Sunday, June 24, a break-in was reported on the 6300 block of Lawyers Hill Rd. Police said that between Saturday, June 16, and Sunday, June 24, someone shattered a window on the side of the home. The suspect(s) did not gain access, according to police, and nothing was reported stolen.

Smash and Grab at Elkridge Business
Copper wiring was reported stolen from a business on the 6300 block of Macaw Ct. Police said that the burglar(s) broke a glass door to gain entry to Communications Construction Group between 3 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday.

Vehicle Theft on Railroad Avenue
Two motorcycles were stolen from a garage on the 5700 block of Railroad Ave. sometime between Friday, June 22, and Saturday, June 23.
