Two Break-Ins, Two Attempts on Old Waterloo Road, Deep Run Parkway

The following information was provided by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Jewelry, electronics and cash were stolen from two residences on the 6800 block of Old Waterloo Road on Jan. 4. Police said the break-ins are being investigated as related.

In both instances—which occurred Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.—the front door had been pried open and the residence was “ransacked,” said police. 

At one of the residences, the victim had put empty boxes from recently purchased electronics at the curb for trash pickup, said police.

Shed Break-Ins

Police are investigating a pair of break-in attempts on the 6600 block of Deep Run Parkway as being related. According to police, two suspects tried to get into sheds and garages at 11:13 a.m. and 3:58 p.m. on Jan. 3.

Auto Theft

A tan 2006 Honda CRV was stolen from the on the 7100 block of Dorsey Run Road on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
