A week of training for Howard County firefighters culminated Wednesday morning at 5910 Waterloo Road with a live burn, said Jackie Cutler, spokeswoman for Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
The Aug. 24 fire next to Waterloo Elementary School in Columbia rounded out the week's worth of training that included using infrared thermal imaging and simulated smoke.
