Is He an Aspiring Governor? County Executive Ken Ulman Says: 'We'll See Where It Leads'

Howard County's leading man spoke in St. Mary's County about how Maryland faces similar challenges despite geographic differences.

County Executive Ken Ulman spoke to The Lexington Park Leader in St. Mary's County on Nov. 8 about how everyone in Maryland essentially wants the same thing.

"We all have similar challenges across Maryland," said Ulman, on a tour to meet with local commissioners in his role as president of the Maryland Association of Counties. "Citizens we all serve are really interested in the same things."

Stretching their dollars was what mattered to Marylanders, according to Ulman, who hears from Howard County residents each year during public hearings on the budget; on Nov. 9, for Dec. 7.
