Elkridge Money Bag Burglar Indicted

Joseph Charles Williams of Paterson, NJ, faces multiple charges related to Marshalee Drive burglaries at Lyndwood.

A Howard County grand jury indicted a New Jersey man on charges related to multiple business break-ins at the Lyndwood shopping centers in Elkridge this month.

Joseph Charles Williams, 53, of Paterson, NJ, faces eight counts of burglary and one count of theft between $1,000 and $10,000 after police said they found him leaving Naima's Hair Design with a TV in his arms on Sept. 9.

Williams reportedly fled back into the hair salon, where police detained him and found a money bag nearby.

According to charging documents, Williams also broke into  Hunan Express, Great Clips and Venetian Nails and Spa.

Bond is set at $75,000 for Williams, who is not to return to any business on Marshalee Drive, according to the indictment. He is scheduled to appear for arraignment Nov. 1 at Howard County Circuit Court.

How stupid is this...He broke into these buisnesses. So now he is to stay away from them. What the Heck. If he is going to do crimes does a Judge really think he is going to listen to NOT GO back to that area. Sometimes the justice system just doesn't make sense??? SMDH :/
