Notify Me Howard Tracks Trash and Recycling Schedules

Wondering how the next holiday, thunderstorm or downed tree will affect your trash and recycling collection?

Of course, Patch will always keep you up to date, but there’s also an app for that.

Actually, the mobile and email alert system, NotifyMeHoward, isn’t new.

The system allows users to sign up for alerts from the police and fire departments, the library system, the health department and other sources.

Subscribers to alerts from the public works department will now be alerted when trash and recycling is on a slide schedule, cancelled due to bad weather, or if there are any other updates to pickup schedules.

If you are already subscribed to public works alerts on NotifyMeHoward, you don’t need to do anything. If you want to unsubscribe, just log into your account and click “my alerts” at the top of the page to manage subscriptions.
