Report: BWI Has Shortest Wait Time

Among the nation's 25 busiest airports, survey found BWI tied for best wait time, clocking in at 5 minutes.

You won’t find people waiting around at BWI, according to a recent report.

The Baltimore Business Journal reported on Friday that Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) is in a group with the shortest wait time among the nation’s 25 busiest airports, according to government reports.

Airline ticketing company FareCompare.com compiled the wait times, which were available on various websites but not in one centralized location, it said. According to the compiled data, BWI passengers on average have a 5-minute wait in security lines.
