VIDEO: Driving the Diverging Diamond

The new traffic pattern at the interchange of Arundel Mills Boulevard and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway went into effect Monday.


The new "diverging diamond" traffic pattern near Arundel Mills opened Monday, offering a different way for motorists to get to and from the mall area.

With thousands of people heading to the Maryland Live! casino, the new traffic pattern is supposed to make it easier for people to get on and off the highway.
