The following Howard County services will be closed for MLK Day, Jan. 20:
- County government offices
- Courts
- Animal shelter
- Senior centers
- Robinson Nature Center
- All trash and recycling services
- Howard Transit services
- County parks
- Community centers
- Cedar Lane activity room
- Schooley Mill activity room
- Meadowbrook athletic complex
- Landfill
Also, the restored Ellicott City Colored School, a county heritage site, will open for the day Monday.
