Elkridge Schools To Hold Redistricting Meetings

Affected schools include Thomas Viaduct and Elkridge Landing middle schools.

Two Elkridge middle schools will hold meetings next month to inform parents and students about planned redistricting changes.

Officials with Thomas Viaduct Middle School, which is under construction to handle a growing population along Route 1, will hold its meeting for redistricted rising seventh- and eighth-graders at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Ducketts Lane Elementary School. A similar meeting for rising sixth-graders will be held at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 27.

School officials are planning a day for redistricted rising seventh- and eighth-graders, although that date has not been set.

Elkridge Landing Middle School, 7085 Montgomery Rd., will hold a meeting for redistricted rising seventh- and eighth-graders at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 in its media center.

The school will hold a meeting for rising sixth-graders at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 in the cafeteria.
