After Win Over Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens To Paint More Maryland Towns Purple

Morale-boosting that began in Howard, Baltimore will expand into Anne Arundel, Carroll, Harford counties.

Following Sunday afternoon's 30-7 win against the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens staff and partners plan to hit the pavement with their spray chalk once again.

On Jan. 4, staffers painted the Ravens logo and "W.I.N."—which stands for "what's important now"—in 90 spots across Baltimore and Howard counties, as well as Baltimore City, to drum up enthusiasm among local citizens and businesses about the team's entry into this year's NFL playoffs. The , which were selected for being "highly trafficked areas, key destinations, school bus stops and key businesses," according to the Ravens' marketing strategy brief. The brief also stated that in week two of the playoffs, the team would look into expanding the campaign to include locations across Anne Arundel, Carroll and Harford counties.

The Ravens' second game of the postseason is slated for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, at Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
