Elkridge Runners Get Results in Baltimore Marathon
See how Elkridge athletes fared in Saturday's race.
More than 15,000 people participated in the Baltimore Running Festival on Saturday, and at least 100 were from Elkridge.
Two Howard County running groups placed in the top five for the relay, which included 127 teams. Bullseye Running came in second, and the Howard County Striders took fourth, both in the male relay.
Overall, first place finishers in the marathon were 34-year-old Olena Shurkhno (2:29:11) of New York and 30-year-old Stephen Muange (2:15:16) of New Mexico in the female and male divisions, respectively.
