Yogurt Shop Hits Perry Hall Square

YoTwist Frozen Yogurt and Treats is the latest addition to Perry Hall Square Shopping Center along Ebenezer Road.

On any given day, YoTwist Frozen Yogurt and Treats along Ebenezer Road offers about 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt and 45 toppings.

You do the math—that's a lot of choices.

YoTwist, which opened this month, is the latest business to fill a Perry Hall Square Shopping Center . A also recently launched in the center, and an and are planned.

"We thought that a yogurt shop was needed in this area. It's a healthier, non-fat option," said owner Mei Shi.

Shi said the shop has already enjoyed foot traffic from the adjacent bowling alley, nearby residents and after-school visits from and students.

"They say it's good," Shi said.

Customer Steven Kahl, 12, said his yogurt was "better than ice-cream," and he appreciated the shop's board game selection.

Beyond yogurt, the shop also offers fruit and boba tea-based smoothies with chewy tapioca starch balls at the bottom. Snow-yos, a mix of frozen yogurt and shaved ice, are also on the menu.

Went there last night. Lots of flavors, but NO VANILLA? Tried the sugar free chocolate (only kind of chocolate they had). Actually pretty good. But NO VANILLA?
