C&F Mortgage Clarksville Community Shred-it Day           

·      Where:  6339 Ten Oaks Road Clarksville

·      When:  Saturday, June 29, 11 a.m.

·      Description:  First Clarksville Community Shred-It Day. All are welcome to attend. Participants are welcome to bring all the paperwork and documents they want.  Experienced and knowledgeable Loan Officers will also be available for Free Credit Analysis.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band

·      Where:  5460 Trumpeter Road Columbia

·      When:  Saturday, June 29, 8 p.m.

·      Description:  A quintessential New Orleans institution, the iconic Preservation Hall Jazz Band, one of the first Dixieland jazz groups in history, captures the essence of the city’s French Quarter and birthplace of jazz.

·      Cost: $30-55

How to Get Over Him for Good and Date Like a Super Model

·      Where:  Homewood Suites @ Hilton in Columbia

·      When:  Saturday, June 29, 1 p.m.

·      Description:  90 minute seminar on How to Get over Him and DATE WITH DELIGHT. Participants will learn how to GET CLOSURE and move from loneliness to loveliness, from sadness to savvy, from being frustrated to flirting.

·      Cost: $29 in early bird, $39 at the door

Knights of Columbus Charity Run/Walk

·      Where:  Knights of Columbus Hall, 1010 Frederick Road, Catonsville

·      When:  Saturday, June 29, 8 a.m.

·       Description:  4-mile run or 1-mile run/walk.  The scenic course through Catonsville will include hills, valleys, and a trek down the Streetcar #8 path. Each participant will receive a FREE commemorative T-shirt and water bottle, as well as food and beverages. Proceeds will help support the Knights’ charity programs—Refund Support Vocations Program, Catholic School Scholarships, Food for the Needy, youth sports activities, and other community support endeavors.

·      Cost: $30 for 4-milers and $15 for 1-milers before June 10 (additional $5 charge thereafter)

C.M.C.A. Roadblock Collection

·      Where:  Frederick Rd & Bloomsbury Ave Catonsville

·      When:  Saturday, June 29, 9 a.m.

·       Description:  Look for C.M.C.A. Saturday June 29th on the corners of Frederic Road, and Bloomsbury Ave collecting for the Catonsville 4th of July Celebrations Committee. The “Roadblock” is a yearly collection to support the Parade and Fireworks.

Catonsville Christian Music Festival

·      Where:  Catonsville United Methodist Church

·      When:  Saturday, June 30, 4 p.m.

·      Description:  The Catonsville Christian Music Festival presented by Craig Witzke Funeral Care. Featuring Kelly Deaver & Glorify, Loyal to One, Kidd Grip, Adonai. Fun and games will be available.

Banfield Pet Hospital Grand Opening

·      Where:  4735 Dorsey Hall Drive Ellicott City

·      When:  Saturday, June 29, 8 a.m.

·      Description:  Grand Opening of the Banfield Pet Hospital of Ellicott City. 20% of Grand Opening Weekend Revenue will be donated to Small Miracles Cat & Dog Rescue Shelter.

·      Cost: Free
