Possible Burglar Flees Out Front Door: Howard County Crime Roundup

  Columbia Robbery – Cheesecake Factory A man was reportedly robbed inside the Cheesecake Factory at the Mall in Columbia after he entered the bathroom at the restaurant and two men stole his watch, cell phone and Nike shoes on Dec. 5 between 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., police said. Residential Burglary – Green Mountain Circle Police said they are looking for a suspicious man described by residents of an apartment complex near the 5000 block of Green Mountain Circle after a ground floor apartment was burglarized—bedroom ransacked, five cameras and cash taken—between 12:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. on Dec. 5. Cheesecake Factory Opens at Arundel Mills

The restaurant is part of Maryland Live! casino.

  On June 20, The Cheesecake Factory opened up shop at Maryland Live! casino. Known for having more than 30 varieties of cheesecake, the casual restaurant offers a full menu, from appetizers to dessert. The Hanover location is the sixth Cheesecake Factory in Maryland. Others are in Columbia, Baltimore's Inner Harbor, Bethesda, Towson and Annapolis. Accessible inside and outside the casino, the newly opened Hanover eatery has 275 seats and encompasses 10,200 feet, according to a statement from The Cheesecake Factory. It joins Bobby's Burger Palace, Phillips Seafood, Live! Market Buffet and Noodles, which are also among the dining options at Maryland Live! I went to Arundel Mills Mall today (on a weekend, no less!) and found absolutely no parking or traffic issues around the mall and environs, which of course includes the Maryland Live casino. Route 100 (and presumably the BW Parkway, which feeds Route 100 and mall/casino entrances) was a breeze.
