Elkridge Community to Present 'Real Story' Behind Transportation Data
Constituents who fear they are being misled in Elkridge will discuss a proposed rail project with elected officials on Tuesday.
Weeks after transportation officials came to Elkridge with their preliminary findings from candidate sites for a freight transfer facility, the Elkridge community is delivering a presentation of its own, critiquing those findings. On Tuesday, Dec. 6, the Greater Elkridge Community Association (GECA) is meeting with citizens and their elected officials to talk about what GECA termed “the REAL story,” in an announcement of the event. “The goal is to show our residents the lack of transparency and information CSX has presented to us,” Howard Johnson, GECA president, said in an e-mail.
