Restaurant Review: Not Your Average 'Biker Bar'
Daniels Restaurant and Bar attracts its share of 'motorcyclists,' but its down-home atmosphere brings families roaring in, too.
When Emily Daniels bought property off Washington Boulevard, no one could have guessed it would become a pillar of the Elkridge community. In 1975, the place was a bar, but she wanted something more—a destination for families, her own, in fact. Daniels added a kitchen, converted the bar into a full restaurant and proceeded to raise her own kids among the happy chaos of serving customers and their children. Though Daniels Restaurant and Bar at 5854 Washington Blvd. may be known as a "biker bar," it is strictly family-friendly.
