An Elkridge man is accused in a series of business and commercial burglaries in Columbia and Elkridge, Howard County police said Friday. Michael Arnold Hood, 41, of 6346 Beechfield Ave., has been charged with eight counts of second-degree burglary, 10 counts of malicious destruction of property, six counts of theft, two counts of attempted theft and one count each of fourth-degree burglary and second-degree attempted burglary.
