Places to shop and things to do during the holidays in Columbia.

Do you travel throughout the region and the county to do your Christmas shopping? We've compiled a list of attractions in Columbia below. During the holidays the mall offers a festive atmosphere complete with a towering poinsettia tree and Santa Claus. Greenberries – The Oakland Mills consignment shop offers gently used children’s clothing, maternity wear and baby accessories. The shop also carries a wide variety of new baby gear. If you’re looking for unique gifts, unique dining experiences, or you are just trying to get into the holiday spirit, try Ellicott City.  As the holiday shopping season gets going, Patch decided to put together a guide to local shops to help you make the most of your time here. Parking in the Historic District is free through Jan. 1, and if you don’t know where to find parking, try using Parker – a smartphone app that will let you know where the available spaces are.
