Howard County Man Faces Charges in Local Burglaries

A man already charged in a string of burglaries in Howard County faces more burglary charges after an investigation involving a stakeout, a helicopter search and DNA evidence, according to court records. Robert W. Stone, of the 10300 block of Daystar Court in Columbia, was indicted this week on burglary, car theft and other charges in connection with incidents in Columbia and Ellicott City. Stone is charged with stealing a minivan and an SUV in Ellicott City, as well as burglarizing residences on Dorsch Farm Road and Brampton Parkway in Ellicott City and Pemberton Court in Columbia.
