Theft at Orchard Club, Assault on Montgomery Road
The following information was provided by the Howard County Police Department.
At approximately 12:21 a.m. on Sunday, a male was walking on the 6300 block of Orchard Club Drive when someone he knew reached into his pocket and stole his cell phone and cigarettes, then ran away. A blue and white motorcycle was reported stolen from the 6300 block of Hanover Road at 7:44 p.m. on Sunday, April 8. According to police, the bike has been recovered. On Friday afternoon, a man was assaulted on the 7200 block of Montgomery Road by another man trying to steal his bicycle and wallet between 3:30 and 4 p.m. The suspect was unsuccessful in the attempted street robbery; according to police, he "fled on foot."
