A Historical Park and Museum located in Baltimore County, just up the road from Ellicott City's Main Street. We are dedicated to the life of Benjamin Banneker, a free African American who lived through the Revolutionary War. He was a self taught man of science. He created his own wooden clock (very rare!), published several almanacs, and surveyed the boundary lines of Washington, D.C. He accomplished all of this while running his own colonial farmstead. We are located on the land that he once lived on.

Activities for visitors:

-Visit our colonial cabin

-Walk on any of our trails (6 miles worth of them!)

-Visit our children's nature play space!

-Tour our gallery

-Attend one of our many and diverse public programs
