Jules you are to be commended to come to the assistance after this crash. Your opening remark telling, that for the matter of a few seconds you were spared from being part of the crash. The disgusting part of this tragic event is this driver was obviously drinking at 6:27 Sunday morning to the point that when you gained entry into the wreckage the odor of alcohol was strong enough to be noticed. To be driving under the influence at a rate of speed that caused multiple deaths and the damage to the car described earlier is an incredibly frightening fact we as innocent drivers are exposed to every day we get into our cars. Lets not open the can of worms about the apparent cross dresser! Must have been one hell of a party!

ReplyI went past the scene of the accident soon after Pulaski Hiway was reopened this morning. The road was still wet where I assume they cleaned up the area where the car came to rest. It was not anywhere near the turn everyone seems to think was a possible cause. The police report will have the "official" cause as determined by the professionals who were the first responders this morning.

Marge don't be so sensitive, if you dig a bit deeper you may uncover some information that may shed light on what caused this man to take his life and report that. People don't commit suicide simply for the experience. I find that sad for a reporter.
